A friend of mine is willing to sing a song for me, but we can't find the instrumental for it. No where. So this is when hopefully you guys come in to help. Is anyone willing to strip the song to make it an instrumental? If this is not allowed, please move/delete this thread. Thank you.
You mean...you want to record him singing the song? Some mobile phones will allow to record voice, some mp3 players... There are pc mics, but I don't know how to use or what you may need.
I'm sorry for not properly explaining. He's going to record a cover for me, but needs the instrumental for the specific song. So it's not just his voice, but the music, too. Like karaoke, I guess. I know there's a program to download and am curious if anyone may have it. I can't download anything on this computer, so I can't do it myself.
its not very possible to strip vocals out of a song. Its an extremely inexact science and more often than not ends up ruining the melody. Your best bet is to find a proper instrumental or karaoke version of the track.
or use guitar pro, find the tabs for the song you want, plays in midi format, so it would be like karaoke sing alongs, or a phone ringtone
