Is it possible to have more than one save file for Dragon Quest Monster: Joker?

    I've noticed that the game only has one save file, which is dumb.
    Is it possible to have 2 save files on the same cartridge?
    Any help is appreciatd :D

    if you're talking about a real cartridge, then no. with a flash cart you move the save file to your PC and start again, then swap the save files over.

    This is also possible if you use a DS emulator like the cool kids <------ :p

    only if you take the save files out of the saves folder. otherwise, you'll end up as in the original game.

    Im in this thread for sure.. Actually you cant with a normal cartridge.. Since I have an R4 and the real game, one save slot is in the game like normal, but for my R4, I played a second game on it, and if you wanted to start a whole new one, put the save file of it on to your computer and then insert it back into your DS and no save should be there. Thats just for R4. :p

    Some people might get annoyed with that though... It would be cool if R4 released a kernel which allows you to choose your gamesave you want to play on your rom without going on your computer.

    You can just duplicate the ROM and change its name.

    DQM1.nds
    DQM1.sav

    DQM2.nds
    DQM2.sav

    That should be successful.

    Yeah but that would waste space... I've only got a 1gb Micro.
