Me and my friends went on a school journey to London and we stayed with a foster family for 4 days. We had a PS2 with a hoard of pirated games and movies (the disks where put in plastic wrapping with copied disk covers). One of which was def jam: fight for NY. I Remember this game well and we where playing it in multiplayer for ages. On the last evening we decided to let one of my friends play story mode. And this was really weird: He finished the whole story mode in 1 hour and 36 mins. This is beyond my belief, so im asking you, is it really that easy?! It got high review marks, but this story is rediculously short, and above all that he only died once in the whole game.We all went to sleep happily at 2.30 in the morning achieving something

What did you expect, a 50-90 hour gameplay RPG?

Games like this one are made for the ADD crowd. If you want a story-mode with long gameplay, look at RPGs.

If there is difficulty settings, putting it on max may help, playing as everyone, exploring all modes, etc...

I haven't played this one, but from what I saw of the original games, you need to try different things in order to get the most out of them, fighters "seem" short.

    That too.

    Did you get everything unlocked?

    Did you try hard?
