Is everything now non downloadable?

??? I'm just wondering is everything on romuolation no longer available for download? I know the nintendo ds stuff was locked off but i just tried to download final fantasy 7 frrom the playstation downloads section and get the message as when the nintendo ds section went down. something about game company yada yada asked to take down ect. I mean has this what it comes down to? I know they have been starting to crack down on this kind of thing but i didn't think they would take it to this kind of extreme. I mean if something is off the market and no longer available for sale or otherwise then that more or less makes it freeware or whatever the term is for old games and software. At any rate it saddens me that this is what it comes down to. Just thought of the word i was trying to think of abandonware is what it's called. When old games and software are no longer for sale and have been off the market for ages.

It's not abandonware if the company that owns it still doesn't want it shared.

There are still things available for download though, just the ESA is a large group, many of the most popular titles come from companies that belong to it.

 

Meh, it's not like there isn't anywhere else to slurp up free games. RomU isn't the ONLY game in town, you know.

 

It isn't the only ROM site in town but can you find any other sites that has a great community like RomU? And RomU isn't a a game ;D
