is europe and usa the only roms that work on uk

    no, the DS is not region locked and games from any region will work.

    this means that I can get any game i like, and don't have to worry about the region?
    what is te reason for dividing the games in regions? other than languages???

    for DS its languages and sometimes slightly different content. For consoles, the colour encoding scheme in the games differs between regions because televisions in different regions use different encoding schemes (US/Japan uses NTSC, Everywhere else uses PAL, except France and (I think Russia), which use SECAM).

    but yes, you can use any region DS game on any DS.

    Esentially, yes, languages is the only barrier you may face...


    Other consoles (ps2, wii, xbox, etc) will need other methods...but that isn't why you here is it XD
