Is DS Download Play possible with the R4 DS?

    I tried to Download Play with Metroid Hunters on my R4 DS. But on my friend's DS (he's the one trying to Download Play), it just says "Downloading" forever. We waited a good 5 minutes to the point that it's abnormal.

    So is it even possible? Any ideas?

    Yes, used to work fine on my 2 NDSLs, used to play download and play mariokart, tetris and a few other games perfectly.

    If they could receive the signal that there was a game for download, there isn't any reason he can't download it.

    It should work, cause i have an R4 DS and my firend download plays with me alot. I can also Wi-Fi perfectly.

    Yes, Download Play works absolutely fine.

    it is probably because you have the old firmware. the r4 team started supporting download play around 1.15ish but you should get the latest 1.18 because it works the best
