This is really just for kids/teens who's parents will not let them do certain things on their computers at home.

If at least 10 people make the request I will tell you how to do it without downloading anything & without your parents noticing in a few simple steps.

most computer accounts are admin by default.

  6. first of all, Athemoe, that shit really don't work so you were telling the truth even though you thought you were being sarcastic haha that makes it even funnier. anyway herez how

restart your computer and as soon as the screen shows up with all the white text on it hold F8 until the Advanced Boot Options shows up
Then select "Safe Mode without networking" with the arrow keys & press enter
The only accounts available to log in with should be your parents(or whoever's) administrator account and the computer's default admin. account. Use either one.
Open up Control Panel and create a new account with administrative privileges. Give it the same name and picture as your account & then delete your old account to get rid of the evidence.

    voila

That would only work if the accounts weren't protected and even- ugh I can't be bothered, so dumb.

You can also use Trinity Rescue Kit or something similar that can be run at boot to clear the admin password (or any windows logon password).

If I were your parents though, I'd be able to see you get into the account and with what password you've set as well as anything else you've done. I would then systematically undo everything you just did.

I used to have a locking program that would freeze the screen upon logging in until you've entered the password, so even if you were able to clear the logon passwords, you'd be pretty much stuck at this point.

I'd also lock the BIOS and CMOS so you won't even have a chance to use F8 at boot. (if you have a way to clear the password without knowing the password in the first place, send me a PM because I actually need that...previous owner kind of set it and didn't tell me what it was)

Thank God most parents aren't that computer savvy...

Here's what you do, get a new monitor.
I mean, buy a new hard drive, install it and windows onto that, then proceed as usual.

Wont work if those accounts are password protected. Also deleting your account would also delete all your documents and files.

Pretty sure that only works on Windows XP,or if you have your parents' password, in which case you could just log on as your parents and make an admin account.

These are actually along the lines of what I was saying in my first post.
I couldn't get OPHcrack to work from a USB stick and so I just abandoned it. I'm pretty sure it would work if I had burned it to a disc.

Weedmor_Fatblunt Does this really work? My parents are really strict, im not allowed on the computer unless I ate all my vegetables and did my homework.
I really want to see some internet porn.

  19. worked for me homie that's all i'm saying. & if you can't be bothered why did you even post anything? just to waste your own time? sure didn't waste mine i enjoy putting you in your place. beneath me.

the computer's default admin. account doesn't even show up on my normal log-in screen. I am assuming it would be the same for others with windows xp but i do not know everything. give me a break jeez man.

Also, the kid's account obviously is not already an administrator acc. so WTFs with all those posts seriously? you just gotta get a word in huh?

to MSG: if you have any files that you wish to keep, open up your documents while in safe mode & copy and paste the ones you want to your new account's documents

& finally yes, MSG, to clarify, yes it does work IF you have windows xp & your parents don't have hacker status. If both of these are true for you then enjoy your porn lil buddy.

I run this thing called "Arch" or something, how do I get admin rights on that? I'm pretty computer illiterate though, can't even find the start button :X
