IRC - What's a good one?

    What's a good IRC client? Send me the download and I'm hoping it's free.

    mIRC is pretty standart one.

    I use the IRC client from Pidgin, because it integrates with other IMs.
    mIRC is good, too.

    Please note that mIRC says it's a trial but once your 30 days are up it will still function perfectly fine.

    Hey Seph I don't know how it owrks, but if I want to get onto the romulation IRC channel will it work. Also what if I wanted to get onto gbatemp's channel will it work. ???

    an IRC client can access any IRC channel. Some may not be able to access more than one channel at a time, but none of them are locked to specific channels or inherently locked out of channels.
