IRC Error/Connection Issue

Have tried to connect all day,Using mIRC, Keep getting can not connect to server : No route to host.

uh help?

 

Well the server is irc://irc.imperium.ca/ which probably means that it's in Canada. Maybe your internet is too slow to connect.

 

but i used to go on all the time with no problems?

yes managed to get in yesterday cheers, blown if i know why it wouldnt let me in but it seems like it was just that particular day.

 

It happens every once in a while. Not really much you can do about it besides wait until you can get in again

i tried to get on it the other day for the first time, with internet explorer it said

and with firefox it said

firefox does not know how to open this address because the protocol (irc) is not associated with any program.

is it because my internet is too slow? because i do live in new zealand and get an average of around 112kb/s

 

No, you need an IRC client like mIRC or something in order to get on there.

mirc works great, also the firefox irc client thing is pretty good.
