IPS Patch Help

    Can someone explain to me how to apply an IPS Patch properly. Everytime I do it, the screen just stays black. Is there a certain program that works best? What version of a ROM should I use?

    You should use LunarIPS for patching .ips files. http://wiki.smwcentral.net/wiki/Lunar_IPS
    To apply a patch to a clean ROM, you'll have to click on "Apply IPS Patch", then select the IPS patch you want to use.
    Any version should do fine, as long as it's not patched itself.

    Also when you plan to do patch work on any ROM, you should often read the readme file that usually comes bundled with the patch as this includes certain additional info & instructions to do a flawless patch
