    Hellos.

    Well, I wanna choose. Should I get an iPod Touch or a DSi XL?

    I've been tinkering about this because I've got a DSi and don't wanna miss it...
    But if I want the iPod Touch mom & dad may refuse my offer & give me the XL...

    Soo, um, what should I get?

    Here's a list of what I wanna do with it:
    - iPod:
    * Internet
    * Video's
    * Music
    * Games
    * Emulators (once I've hijacked it of course)
    I'm planning on buying a 8 GB one. 16 GB gets too expensive :p

    - DSi XL:
    * Replacement for my DSi really....

    Soo what should I get?

    looks to me its fairly easy, get the ipod touch. since you already have a dsi, and dsi xl is not that great, its cool that it has bigger screens and all, but it is heavy and too big. so i recommend just staying with the dsi and buying an ipod touch

    Yeah but if I want it mom and dad may get me an XL instead...it's too expensive, like dad said before...

    And my DSi is still intact and I don't wanna replace it...

    Yesh that's what I want but also (not something I included in my post) what generation is good for hacking & cheaper then the latest?

    If they only have the latest I have no choice really...

    i dont know if the new one is able to hack, but gen 1 to 3 are able to be hacked. but they have to be in firmware 4.0 or below

    I think I'm getting gen 3, as I don't care about the camera. Neither do I care about facetime (or whatever it is called).

    Well you've got a DSi already. By getting a DSI XL, all you'd be getting is a larger screen. Which is awesome, but for its price tag it's quite a lot considering you already have a console that has the same features.

    The iPod Touch is actually pretty cool and is also cheaper (Well it is over here in Australia). My only itch about the iPod Touch is it doesn't have buttons. It gets quite annoying after a while, especially if you want to play emulators on it.

    Up to you, I remember I had the exact same dilemma myself. I ended up buying both. :p

    I'm getting a Touch. I like touchscreens better then buttons though.

    Cool, it's the right choice to be honest.

    remember that if you want to jailbreak, it has to be in firmware 4.0 or below
