Yes... My first question on my iPod... Ok. I'll summarize this quickly.

I used my Ipod. The battery died. I didn't bother to charge it. I left it alone for a month. I decide to use it again. AM now charging it. What I want to know is, 1 hour or 3? The quick start guide does not really tell well.

Doesn't it have a "Charge Complete" indicator?

    It should, yes.

The iPod that I have says Charge Complete when it's done charging.

Yes, but the instruction book says something like

"Charge your iPod for either one or three hours"

I can't really, I need to meet my mum in the clinic, shes going for a catscan thing... SO I need my thing ready. It's already 1 hour, Can I just take it off and use it for awhile or do I have to fully charge the three hours?

    Whatever you wanna do. :p

It's fine if you take it off for now.
    Just charge it later.

01 hour is the quick charge, charges the battery UP to 80%; 03 hours is the full charge, in both cases the iPod will say it's ok to disconnect but to preserve the battery is best to fully charge it as often as possible.

But let it run almost out before recharging it though before recharging it.

    You're welcome.
It sucks when people have to go to the hospital...
