Hi everyone, I'm Chris and i'm new to this so please be kind and help me out a little bit.
Have recently noticed that a lot of roms are coming up with the message " SAVE DATA CANNOT BE ACCESSED, PLEASE RE-INSERT CARD"
Please dont tell me to patch this or up grade that because i don't even know where to start.
Also, Lego Batman DS is loading fine and saving...Until i turn DS off then when i turn it back on the save data is no more,
    Can anyone help please. Chris

upgrading your firmware is the only way to fix this. Check our tutorials section for the R4 tutorial, just follow those instructions, using your flashcart's firmware instead of the R4 one. Download firmware from www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds

Hi, Thanks for replying, I have an R4 flash card, micro sd card and usb stick for the micro sd card, do i have to put new firmware on micro sd card or R4 flash card, i have no way of connecting flash card to computer and no cd as a friend did all the original sorting out of the cards firmware for me, i was basically given the card working and shown how to put the games on there.

the firmware goes on the microSD and that then goes into the flashcart, which has no memory of its own.

Hi again, thanks for replying again, have just had a look at firmware list, which 1 should i use and is it a case of uncompressing data and dropping onto sd card

you use the latest (highest number) for R4, which I think is 1.18. You just extract the files and put them on your microSD as they are, overwriting any existing ones.

Should always use the latest firmware until needed.
