My internet keeps disconnecting every 10 minutes now. it's getting annoying. I even restarted my modem (usually gets it going) and it's just a temporary solution now, it probably just extends the internet time by.... 5-7 more minutes? This is getting annoying now.. How do I fix it?
how long is a piece of string? no-one can help you on just the information given. For a start, what type of internet connection do you have?
Well, I've not been quite sure. I think it's cable. I read it up and it seems closest. As far as I know, we don't have anything to link our modem to our telephone. I think it may be that there's a maintenance but something else is happening now too.. My computer just restarts itself while I play minecraft (never did this before) saying something, but it goes by so fast I can't read it, it said something about BIOs too though. Things are getting really weird on it lately.. Off Topic - On my other thread loony, I deleted my last two games I downloaded. Seems a bit faster. Also how do I free up virtual memory? Starting to get notifications to free it up on my computer. If you need any other info, tell me. I'll try to give as much as I can.
You dont free up virtual memory, windows (mis)manages it automatically. If the message says 'virtual memory minimum too low' then it is ridiculous, redundant and can (and should) be ignored. you should be able to turn off the automatic reboot and then it will sit on the bsod, allowing you to note down the details.
Not trying to hijack but my internet/computer is showing similar qualities. My can last 20 mins to 2 hours then randomly goes offline. Its not the internet since my xbox stays online but the laptop disconnects. This can be fixed easily by just disconnecting from connecting then it works straight away. My idea for this would be a straight format of your computer. I know this can see as your last option but doing this twice a year can help free some of them unwanted files.
