well, i've been trying forever now to get windows on my acer aspire one via usb......but haven't

i can get the setup going, but after reboot it doesn't do a thing

i know that you can set windows up through a network with windows server 2003, but i'm confused on how to go about doing this.

i know you have to make the computer you want windows on a slave and then something....but i get lost after the first few articles.......i was using the help guide on 2003.

does anyone know how to install succesfully via usb, or through a network? ???

    help would be nice!! ;D

you are talking about RIS, which requires a windows domain controller and specially prepared images. There is a much easier way here: http://ping.windowsdream.com/winner/doc/pxe.html

google "WinTo Flash" it works every time for me. If you have an issues with using the program the support forum has almost any issue you may encounter. I have used the program several times before. I own 2 Net-book's and used it on both. Just make sure you have a big enough flash drive.
