Increasing FPS?

    Hey I've been playing FFIV and the fps is sometimes good (30-31, which is mostly in battles, 20-26 outside of battles) and sometimes very poor (16-21 in battles, 4-6 otherwise). I closed down as many unnessesary programs as possible and use No$gba 2.6a with No$zoomer 2.3.0.1

    The main question is: Can I increase FPS without changing my computer's hardware ect.?

    a couple of "middlemen" are taken out, making the game run a bit smoother

    Also, change settings like Lowest Audio quality, 3D render to no$cash etc. Emulation speed to Unlimited MHz Disaster.
