They had them before I came-but since sony put out demos-romU took them out.

THe point of the site is to try before you buy-not keep the downloads here.

Hence why psp ain't here-not required anymore.

Try before you buy ? Too bad not all people think like that here.

But most users just want free games...

    Hell I -

[me=mds64]shuts his mouth on piracy scheme designed to drag eb games down thanks to thier return policy[/me]

Isn't that one of the uses of Romu ? To get free games ? Tell me if I'm wrong.

The main purpose is to try before you buy.

Not free games-but they can't really stop you...so it's all good XD

Just asking does the mods forbid it ?
Or they let us use it as much as we want ?

Look at it this way. Everyone uses RomUlation to get free games. No-one buys the games so the developers get no income from them. The staff don't get paid and go hungry. They leave the developers and change careers, because making games isn't paying the bills. Then no more games get made. Is this what we want? No.

However, we can selectively do this. Say a developer is churning out rubbish all the time, then suddenly creates an epic game amongst all the rubbish. We are trying before we buy, so we try all their games, and do not buy the rubbish, but then we try the epic game and rush out and buy it. Then, when the developers analyse their end of year sales, they'll notice that the rubbish games aren't selling very well, but the epic one is. If the margins are high enough, they will decide that the public do not want the rubbish games, and stop producing them, but the epic game was so successful that they will produce more like it. This is good for them because they make more money, but it is also good for us, because we get more good games to play.

As much as we want-as I said, they have no way to control what we do-it's all in good faith-looney know's of my psp dumping...and how i get free games that way XD

If they banned everyone who wanted just free games-there'd be no-one here and a site closure might be needed XD

And this is why my wii is not chipped and i still buy ds games occasionally XD

I focus on psp and seleted ds titles (Ea mostly or those not worthy of paying for...)
