Im worried about my R4DS

well i havnt gotten any and i see people's on youtube how

the spring breaks...
how it wont load...
and how there nintendo ds lite breaks

do you think this will happen to me? if i be extra carefull will it?

how will it not load? i hope i didnt waste my money =[[

 

Don't be worried, The R4 spring can break, its an undeniable fact, but I've had mine over a year and it hasn't and even if it does you can easily remove the spring from the cart and then insert the microSD manually. The card not loading/being recognised has happened to me before, it can simply be fixed by removing and reinserting the microSD and the cart into the DS. As for the DS itself breaking, some early Lites had weak hinges (and apparently some still may) but an easy way to avoid breaking your hinge is to not open your DS extremely fast.

Just don't worry.

 

If you have the r4 version 2 don't worry about the spring breaking cause it does'nt have one. My card sometimes does'nt get recognised by my ds, just re-inserting it seems to fix it.

 

same here had mine long time and its fine spring not gone yet which is surprising as i click it in and out all the time.
and the not loading thing same as those guy just a bit of clicky clicky and hey its workin now.

 

i oredered a nintendo ds cromson black (the red/black one) from walkmart

Don't worry the R4 is still a fine piece of kit. leetmod.com seems ok. Never dealt with them myself.

is wifi for example mario kart still easy to use with R4?

 

I'm not sure if download play works (sending the demo to a friends DS). But WiFi works. Same as it would on Mario Kart in an ordinary DS.

 

My friend's r4ds is going to split in half but its still working

 

so your not sure if the download in romulation can play wifi? =/ ahh that sucks lol

No, Roms from here work fine, Download Play is where you can send your friends a 'copy' of the game so you can play a limited version of multiplayer.

 

download play and wifi work fine for me on most game but there are a few that don't work dl/wifi the only one i can think of at the mo is new super mario bros

Nah, I'm guessing that guy dropped his DS pretty bad. I mean I've had my DS (Phat since launch) and its still with me. And my Lite is still going strong. No breakages and plenty of drops.
