I'm new and I have a n00b question.

Look, i understand that i will probaby be made fun of for asking this ;D but im new and im not familiar with you regs. plus im not worried if you think im a n00b or whatever you call it.

I would like someone to tell me whether its possible to get a gba rom on my edge flash card for my ds? I would really like metroid: zero mission on my port 1 flash card.

unless of course the answer is posted in about 50 other threads including stickies in the tutorials section, then you can be ridiculed for not searching.

But no unfortuneately GBA cant be run on slot one cards, I would have killed to have Golden Sun on my R4

 

Apperantly there is development on an emulator that will go on flashcarts that allows you to play GBA games on them, but this is also a rumour and if it is true let's hope they don't stop development...

 

This would only really be useful for the new DSi (Since it got rid of the Slot 2)

Would be a waste of time for the DS Phat and Lite since it already has 100% working GBA capabilities in Slot 2

 

I was thinking about that... And I was also thinking that they may delay this so it is more compatible with the DSi as always there will be complications...

 

Unlikely for the non DSis. Besides, it wouldn't called an emulator. I don't know too much about the specifics of the hardware of the DSi, but I'll have to study it later.

 

if you buy an ez flash 3in1( a slot 2 card) you can get gba games.

oh and forgot to say you are going to need to download GBA exploader so you can load up all you GBA roms. GBA exploader also boots up the ram and rumble.

 

Yes you can but you are going to need two things.

A program to run on your card called gameboyexplorer

and

an extension pack "ez flash card"
