I'm making a New 3D Zelda Game!

I've decided to show off the game i have been making for quite a while. It's called "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Detour.

Story: The game starts off as Link is riding his horse, who you can name through the land. Link takes a wrong turn and ends up in the Land of Hyrule. He rides his horse [epona] into Kakariko Village where he meets Greta, the witch of potions. She tells link that she can help him find his way back to his original path but first he needs to get her the objects that she needs for her newest potion. This starts the wheels turning of Link's newest Adventure.

I am quite proud of the story and game as i have spent a lot of time creating the story and game to get the details right.

OOT hack?

 

hmm sounded like you meant you were a ''new game'' and not a new rom hack, i'm imma guess nothing too advaced like new cutscenes?

 

what is it on ds or like wii

The beginning seems way too natural for a Zelda game =/

I was expecting something like

"XXX Came out and XXXed Link and so Link had to XXX treasures and use them to XXX the evil ones and XXX the world."

 

Isn't the screenshots from Ocarina of time? =.=

Sadly 90% of you people posting & dissing the guy's project do not know of the world of ROM Hacking

Of course his game might look like Ocarina of Time or even Majora's Mask as he probably used those games as the base game for his ROM Hack.

Unless of course he's just bragging & those photos were indeed just screen caps from OoT or Majora's Mask then I'd let him have a taste of my Psychic Wall for me blindly defending him

Sorry to let you down Cahos , i originally got this from a topic i made on a game making forum awhile back, as a joke i made a topic with the worst story and characters i could come up with, complete with screens from OoT calling it a "new 3D" zelda game i was making.

Yeah well, i can barely posts on this forum, never the less roms, and my programming knowledge is about equal to bold and italics in html xD. Although i kind of expected everyone to jump on the "it's a joke" bandwagon instead of "it's a rom hack" one, that kind of surprised me.

 

Well you posted this thread on a "serious" discussions section so it's expected people will take your topic seriously.
