so correct me if I'm wrong. I have a dsi , updated it to 1.4 (and crushed my R4i by doing so). I bought an Acekard 2.1i, 1.5 (Akaio) is the firmware on the SD. If I read all topics about acekard and dsi I should only update my card to 1.6 firmware Akaio (only some folders and loaders?) I don't have to use the patch because it is already compatible with dsi?
The Acekard2i has an update that is separate from the firmware. This update must be run on the Acekard in order for it to work on the DSi with 1.4. That means you have to have a DSi with 1.3 or lower, or a DS Lite, to run the update. If they update has already been run, your Acekard will appear as a Danny Phantom game, rather than the Acekard.
