Okay guys, Im gonna try and do what I once thought impossible and try to emulate Kingdom Hearts on my PC, after I had a dream where I was playing it on my PSP. Problem is, I haven't really boosted my computer since I bought it back in 03-04. As I understand, what I need is RAM and a Video Card right?

Well, just recently I boosted my computer to 640 MB Ram. I know its not much but I hope its enough.
I also have 2.40GHz. Dont know what it means but I think its decent. No, what worries me is my video card, which Ive never touched. Dont even know where it is.

Apparently my video card is called Monitor Plug and Play en Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller. For some reason, even when I dont know a thing about this, as I type this I know this is worthy of pity. Anyways, any recommendations? Oh, and please keep in mind that I live in Mexico, so tell me about commonplace stuff, kay?

Is your computer a laptop, or a dell desktop? Most systems with intel graphics cannot be upgraded. Furthermore, your RAM is just above the bare minimum to run XP decently, so you haven't a hope of emulating with that, and 2.4Ghz is actually slow. 3.0Ghz/3.2Ghz are fast now.

Yes, you will need a better system in order to run PCSX2 effectively. KH1 and 2 work great on the emulator, but the emulator requires a lot of PC power. And since it's no where near perfect, it takes a lot more power to do certain things.

PCSX2's website even has a "can I run it" section, I believe, (maybe it's in their forums).

But, don't get your hopes up. The stats on the PC remind me of my old one from college, and that one can't run PCSX2 (but it can run ePSXe without any real issues).

I see. Thank you guys, I suppose it is time I get a new desktop. Or buy a PS2, either is fine.
