im gettin the R4 this week, i wan't to know real or non-real dis/advantages.

well, I'm Getting the R4 this week or the next, and I'm not sure if its real or not, the R4 is $70 but the guy knows my best friend and he said he'll give him 50% off since were Getting 5, I'm not really convinced if the real thing or some fake R4, that's Going to stuff up our Ds's.

How do i know it's real.

I would be very grateful, oh and does R4 support Wi-Fi, I'm quite confused since Pokemon Diamond and I'm sure every other Ds game, has it's own serial number or such, and since many people got their own R4, same Pokemon diamond serial number?, how would that work?

I'm already thankful to Romulation group and who-ever helped with the site, you guys just made Nintendo lose over $100,000 he he.

Well, here's what I can tell you...
Advantages:
High compatibility with commercial roms
Pretty good compatibility with homebrew roms
Wifi compatible (yeah, you can play your Pokemon games)
Simple drag-and-drop roms file system (seriously, how much simpler can it get?)

Disadvantages:
Still can't play Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (try finding a flash card that can, heh)
No SDHC, limiting your MicroSD card size
Lack of instructions (not that your really need them)

And, unfortunately, that's about all I can think of off the top of my head without dragging up someone's wiki comparison (such as PocketHeaven's).
