Ive tried a few different roms of Ikaruga and none of them work on Chankast or nullDC. They both read every rom as a Music CD rather than a game. Can anyone help?

Either your ISO is messed up, or, instead of loading the disc image directly through the emulator, load the image with a program like Daemon Tools, and then run the image drive from the emulator.

Oh, and make sure you have properly configured your BIOs and plugins.

Ive got a few different ISOs from different places so I doubt all of them could be screwed. Chankast uses Daemon Tools while nullDC I can load straight through the emulator. The BIOS and plugins should be fine because I can play other games fine. The only reason I can think of it not working is because the file is a .nrg rather than a .cdi, which my other working games are.

that shouldn't make a difference, an image is an image and the only reason it wouldn't work would be if the emulator haven't got support for the image type - but that could be fixed by mounting it in a virtual drive.

I mounted it using Daemon and it still reads as a music CD. And Im pretty sure the emulators support it because others can play it on their computers.

.nrg images may not contain necessary subchannel data

Do you know where abouts I could find a .cdi image of it then? Or an alternative fix?
