Umm, Hi. I did something really stupid. It's like this: I have a packard Bell Imedia PC. That casing is really small. I knew that, but knowing it's length and height, the ATI Sapphire hd 6850 Should just been able to fit in. What i overlooked was the fact, that there are a bunch of wires in the way, making it impossible to mount it. (No, i can't remove the wires.) Even if it would be able to fit in, the slot thing needs to go in the motherboard, right?(if not thank god.) But i Noticed Waaay too late, that the slot thing on the card is on the wrong side, and if i turn it over, it is in the wrong position. So, i can't mount it in any way right now. So, what do i need to do? Do i need to buy a new casing and let let proffesionals take out the hardware of my pc and put it in there, or something else? Any help would be much appreciated. And please no comments on how stupid I was, i know that.
You plain need a bigger case. Those smaller cases generally aren't made to be upgraded. Everything inside fits just right.
Aha, but do i need a proffesional to put all the stuff in? or can I do it myself? And if i do, is it hard to place the stuff the "good way?" Thanks
just google how to repair pcs. It will show you how to mount and demount a motherboard. There are thousands of sites about this. Good Luck
