My Character would be a boy with the power to control ice and fire...and he would wield a Magic Book as a weapon.One day he would be a strong as link!(then...he would become LINK!!!)

 

I think Link needs a Rival, someone who always tries to beat him to rescuing Zelda/and completing other objectives throughout the game.
