ok. i have [and am using to write this] a psp phat with custom firmware 3.90 m33-3. i need ideas for hacks as well as website links. and about the ds emulator, why cant they rip the code that runs the game and plug it into their emulators. i mean, come on, the pc has enouh processing power...
A PC is is not capable of running DS code, the hardware is different so the x86 CPUs found in PCs would not know how to execute the instructions. Thus, you need some software to translate the DS' ARM instructions to x86 instructions. This piece of software is called an emulator.
Which is quite difficult to produce. Living examples: the PS2. It's eight years old, and the emulators available for it can only play a few games, and you need quite the computer to do it.
