iCarly & Sonny with a Chance - patched versions for R4

So it's only for the R4. I have an R4i with the latest firmware,would it be better to stay as I am and not bother about the wood firmware?

From what I could see after about five minutes of searching, every dump of iCarly is bad except for the (AUS) version.

For Sonny with a Chance, the (U) dump is bad, the (E) dump is good. These are DSi Enhanced games, so if you already can't play very many of those, chances are these won't work for you either.

 

You find it crap. the poster may like the game.

I don't think much games will get working.

DSi games will not get working on the R4 by any change.

 

There's a difference between DSi Ware, and DSi Enhanced. DSi Enhanced can be fixed through firmware updates, while DSi Ware is pretty much completely unplayable on any cart to date. These are not DSi Ware, they are simply enhanced.

Patches can not fix the issue though.

I don't get what you mean by DSi ROM's. Games specifically made for the DSi (not made at all for Phat or Lite) would fall under DSiWare. Games made with DSi features are simply DSi Enhanced. Last I knew, there were no other categories for this.

 

DSiWare is ENTIRELY different from DSi ROMs.

DSiWare is encrypted. DSi ROMs aren't.

DSiWare is downloadable from the DSi Shop, DSi ROMs aren't.

DSi ROMs do come on cardridges. they CAN be run on DS/DSlite but it gives a "this game must be played on a DSi" message.
DSiWare can't be run on any DSi other then the DSi it was downloaded to, and it cannot be started on a DS/DSlite.

Now get the difference?
I can go on and make an entire list, but this is enough.

 

Problem is, neither of these are DSi ROM's. They are simply DSi Enhanced. DSi only ROM's are labeled as such, but just looking at the covers of both of these games, you can see they are just normal DS games with DSi features.

Either way, if the cart has a fix for it, any cart can play a DSi Enhanced game, which is what these are. DSi ROM's are pretty much irrelevant here.

 

DSi ROMs = DSi only, no DS/DSlite
DSiWare = Only for DSi downloaded to.
DSi enhanced ROMs: Can be run on DS/DSlite, but DSi has more features.

What I am trying to say with this list is that I refer DSi ROMs as the ROMs only for DSi.

I tried iCarly before on my acekard, it's not that bad of a game if you're into Warioware style games, it's pretty much a warioware style game, except with themes from the TV show.
