i want to play wipeout xxl or 3 or 1 on psx emulator but can't what do i do?

What emulator are you using?
What are your computer specs?

What errors are you getting specifically?

You need to be more specific in order to have people help you.

 

well as i said in the thing epsx and basic hp pavillion no add ons 256RAM no errors just sticks don't ever start up. closes off fine

Just so you know, PSX is the name of the system, the original Playstation was termed "PSX".

As for PSX Emulators, many exist:

So it's hard to guess which one you mean when you say PSX Emulator.

That last thing wasn't meant to help with your problem, just increase your general knowledge and help you be able to provide more information when asking for help at a later time.

But the ePSXe Tutorial is very thorough, and contains most of the info you need to get ePSXe at least running.

 

my epsxe is running... it runs games like gt2, ff idk which one etc but just don't run wipeout xxl or 3 and i knew ur last thing wasn't to help me... i was referring to the tutorial

 

Try a different video plugin, Pete's OpenGL2 or Pete's D3D plugins are the best. The default "Nice" Configuration settings are a good start.

Also try different versions of the emulator. 1.5.2, 1.6.0, or 1.7.0 are the usual three.

 

i have 1.6.0 and i have those plugins... i have everything

 

Except 1.5.2 and 1.7.0?

 

why do i need those versions of the program if i have a relatively up to date program already?

 

Because some games work better on other versions of the emulator.

Well, Wipeout 1 and 3 work well on ePSXe 1.5.2 with Pete's OpenGL2 plugin.
