Okay, when I downloaded the Megaman X6 rom, there were two files(bin file and cue file) within the zip file.
I'm using the ePSXe latest version emulator.

    Question:
Do I need the .cue file(76 KB) to play because when I play I just run the emulator then select the bin file and it's ok?
What's the significance of the .cue file or .sub file?

The .cue file (open it in Notepad) just contains the layout of tracks of a CD. It is used when you want to burn the image onto a disc. You burn the .cue instead of the .bin then :) So, you don't need it unless you want to burn it later on (otherwise you could just still use the .bin).

.sub is subchannel data, usually audio.

What do you mean by that?

So it isn't okay to get rid of the .sub file?

The files are so tiny, just keep them all. There's really no reason to delete them (What is 75kb compared to 700mb?)

    Another Question:

Is it okay to rename the files I downloaded, well except the extensions, E.g fft.bin ---->>> Final Fantasy Tactics.bin?

yes,but all the files need to have the same name...
