I need help with my R4

Ok I haven't touched my R4 for over a year now, and I just picked it back up so I could play the new Zelda game. I pop it in and load it up but can't play due to the anti-piracy thing(no train controls). So I started looking it up here and on google and find out that the R4's firmware is greatly outdated and that I would need to use an alternate firmware (YSmenu) but I can't seem to understand how to get it to work. So if someone could make a step by step tutorial of how I can get from here (R4 v.1.18) to there (getting ysmenu and zelda working) I would greatly appreciate it. Maybe going along the lines of where I can get it-->how to set it up-->how to make the patch work-->fun time with Link!

Googling YSMenu will bring up a lot of tutorials to build YSMenu. If you don't want to compile one yourself, search this board for pre-compiled versions.
