I lost my points with a 96% download of Resident Evil 2 Dual Shock CD 2 of 2 [SLUS-00756]. I try to restart but it doesn't work. If possible, I need my points back because I can't do anything with a non complete download.

You should have used a download manager. You have the ability to pause and resume downloads with them.

if you redownload and save to the same location (overwriting the file) with a download manager then it will resume.

Without points I couldn’t resume with Firefox regular download. After some minutes, the download finished in 96% and I couldn't do anything with it. I thing that started downloads could be liberated for the respective user for free points, because he already spend all points in it.

firefox cannot resume downloads. If you were using a download manager then resuming would not cost points regardless of whether you are free or premium.

We don't take points until we start sending actual data, and we have a way of knowing if the date we're sending is for a resumed download.

Well, yeah, one again, I say I am too lazy to correct my typing, and why do you always turn these threads that contribute to your post count into chatrooms?

To bring this thread back on-topic, there's at least one listed download manager in the introduction guide found in the secondary menu under home.

Also there's no such thing as post count, also spelling words properly, if you're capable of doing so is important since we have a lot of people don't don't speak English, thus they use automatic translators to try and get information from these forums; naturally any typos or such will confuse the translator and thus make it harder for the people to understand the content posted.

With that said though, none of us are perfect so shit happens, that does not mean it has to be jumped on immediately.

Also Phantom, when you corrected kamage's 'ahve' you mistyped 'mate' to 'mage'. Just for your information. :)

Now I lost all my points again, only trying to use a download manager. I want my points back (440), please. It's a big fault of you. I start this topic and no solution was given. Now is the second time and I didn't start nothing, only downloaded a index.html. For me, it is disrespect.

Me too, but i dont see the point in whining about it, Example. i downloaded a final fantasy VII, cd 2 yesterday, and my computer restarted like right at about 80%, and stupid me using firefox, i lost it..
So ive got opera now, and i had 4000 points total yesterday, started playing PSX games, down to about 750, so i gotta save up another 100 to get rest of FFX VII, i appreciate how you put up all these roms/iso's for free, i would donate etc, but as im not old enough it would seem pointless of me to say otherwise.

Also, if you needed a link to another rom site to download the iso you wanted, i would tell you it until you had enough points to download here, its better at this place as mostly there not in parts...But i wont as i think its against rules, and i dont fancy breaking them so soon in my joining this site.

    thanks

^ yes that would be against the rules. And if you cant make the downloads here work then your obviously doing something wrong. Instead of complaining about it maybe you should consider using torrents instead.

yeh torrents are good, except for me, i cant portforward my router, so its slow speeds of like 40kb, and a 1gb+ file at that takes like , over 1 day.

Which isnt fun, when your dying to play.

440 points is only 9 days to wait, and it's free, theres no fault or disrespect in that, just because you don't want to pay for it.

Just for the record, not being able to port forward does not necessarily mean slow speeds, I've had over 900KB/s with no port forwarding, no DHT and forced encryption.

It's disrespect? It's disrespect that we're working hard on debugging thousands of lines of code to find out if anything is wrong despite us providing a FREE service for you? And you want your points back? With that attitude you're lucky you don't get banned. It's working for the large majority of users so it's hardly our fault.

    Without solutions again.
No problem, I will wait again.
