I Lent my R4 to a friend and.....

    ....he comes a say to me it bricked his ds. here's the coversation...
    he said that when he boots his ds its......"black".
    What can i do?
    is he trying to take $120 of my wallet?
    i cant beleive this happened!

    hes probably not doing something properly, or he rammed the cart in so hard it broke the DS

    That would have to be extremely hard, it should shouldn't be able to reach the loader hardware, unless the spring and gaps have been modified to do so. Actually check with him to see if it "bricked". A proper bricked DS wouldn't even turn on.

    no wait.....maybe his firmware was deleted....but he doesnt download homebrew porn though....
    ah well i spoke to his dad and he got yelled at big time....

    Well it's not the firmware, it'll be a trojan or if it's ds phat it can be his screen but he'd still have the starting sound...

    Trojan definition- Trojan's may appear as legitamite/normal programs but actually harbor viruses that are released on your hard drive whilst activating the program.
    A file/program that says it's a a file/program when it's not and contains viruses is a trojan, that exists, therefore there is a ds trojan.

    It's a program that appears legitamite but damages files (Virus= A maliscious item/file that damages the hard drive and/or it's contents)
