I just graduated.

Yay, I so happy that I open a topic for this.
Secondary school is finally done
I had the most in my class for my GIP (a work that we need to make at the whole year about a firm and we need to defend it on the end of the year before a jury) 79%.

I feel good. Well for the 18+ people: virtual on me
For the 18- people: virtual drinks on me.
Of course you can pick another drink if you wana.

in belguim:

kindergarten (3 years) => primairy (6 years) => secundary (6 years)

I know but at the age of 18 i would be finishing my a-levels and i finished my secondary school 2 years ago

So technically he graduated High School (that's what it's called from where I come)
No wonder they have plans to add 2 years to secondary education, we have 3+6+4 here.

that pretty similar to the education in malaysia.

Kindergarten -> Primary (7-12) -> Secondary (13-17)

however to get a decent job we need to get Form 6 or A-levels, Diploma, Advance Diploma and Degree.

thanks to my financial limitation i'm only manage to get to diploma level.

Congrats on graduating.

We go 7 - 2 - 4 in the US (or, at least most places do).

First 7: Kindergarten (1 year, earliest year), then first grade through sixth grade
Next 2: Middle School (basically a transition)
Next 4: High School

The year numbers can vary of course. There are a handful of K - 12 schools here I believe (12th grade being the last), and plenty that treat middle school as three years (6th through 8th). Of course, there are also many different paths students can go down with trade schools, GED programs (equivalent of a HS [high school] diploma technically, but a HS diploma is valued more), and the like.

I graduated 7 months ago.

Grats, now you'll be having drunk sex for a month, miss school the next month and spend the next 4 trying to pay for the Foosball tables you smashed with a pool cue during first said month.

Never considered finishing secondary school as graduating. Probably because I went straight into college. In Ireland, the "kindergarten" is an optional 1-2 years, then we have 8 years of primary school (4/5-12/13) and finally 5-6 years of secondary school (12/13-17/18/19).

Technically you can leave after the third year of secondary school in Ireland, but it kind of limits your options for the future.
