...let's say he's really nostalgic for the arcade games of his youth (primarily Rolling Thunder but some Lock N Chase and Impossible Mission wouldn't hurt). I - I mean HE - used to have some emulator on his old computer that used 7z files. Maybe it was called Jnes or something like that? And a mega-pack of games. Can anyone that's into 80s games recommend a total idiot-proof emulator and perhaps a pack of games where I can play multiple types of ROMs (atari, nes, c64) on the same emulator? Much obliged if so. Yeah, Impossible Mission. Anyone familiar with this?
I call you on this, because there is a kitchen sink emulator. It's a MESS, I tell you. The thing supports so much, I don't want to post the list here. Sad thing is, I knew where it was as soon as I saw this line, and just had to disprove that statement.
MAME is an awesome program to play the arcade games. A little confusing but if you mess around with it you can get the hang of the configurations. Just Refresh alot.
i was talkin about MESS as it lists alot of consoles including N64 and was wondering if anyone knew if it worked without gliches
Well since it emulates many other systems and is not based on just N64, it'll probably run very few games.
