i have a doubt about the modding stuff

    well i installed the custom IOS but i dint erase the IOS249, the stub IOS of the 4.2 wii system version of the console, so im asking if i erase the stub now will it brick my wii in any way?

    Since it's IOS38 installed as IOS249, it will.

    In your report, it looks as if you already have IOS38 installed as IOS249.

    So there is no need to go around and delete anything.

    This goes for IOS222/223/202.
    I never uninstalled these stub IOS' and my Wii functions fins and reads that they are cIOS' now. :)
