You ought to learn about our IRC channel, it's excellent at times. :)

How do you connect to the IRC channel anyway? I've never used IRC.

From our very own tutorials section

There's this neat little link in the main page of the site you can click on and it'll take you to the IRC channel after you set it up.

BAH. Can I connect with some similar program that's actually free?

mIRC is free, it just has that annoying thing at the beginning all the time, but if the "trial" period has run out, give it a few seconds and the continue button should become clickable again.

I actually use Icechat... but I don't spend much time on IRC because it doesn't log my online time, therefore it doesn't increase my status in anything...

That's just wrong, spend time on IRC because it's fun to talk with other people, not because you get some stupid number...

I may be fun, but usually you're just trying to spark a conversation or just... talking.

I see IRC as a phone call that's always on, it's not always there's someone talking on the line but there's always the possibility if I wanted to. I don't keep the line open because my phone company logs how long but because of the conversation that sometimes happen.

That makes sense, but you still haven't changed my mind.

You get to be harassed by me. That should be enough incentive to get on IRC right there :)

Tch. Harassed? No. Last time we talked, we had an intellectually stimulating conversation.
