The last file I downloaded before this happened was DK Jungle Beat for Wii. I'm getting ads on the site, from Whilokii Ads, which I got rid of with Malwarebytes, but it won't go away. And there's this "related seaches" thing on the left. It doesn't go away. I don't dare click x. Here's a screenshot: EDIT: Nevermind, and I apologize. I probably got it when I downloaded IDM yesterday. I figured out that I had to manually uninstall it. It's fixed. I guess I'll leave this here in case anyone else has this problem. Or you can delete it, I don't care! Thank you.
Well, good to know that it wasn't RomUlation. Just a note, it couldn't have been us, since you are a premium member (so no ads). And we check all our files (they're uploaded by admins) and the ads come from Google, so they're reputable.
It pays to look at each part of the installation process carefully, sometimes you may miss certain checkboxes in your haste to install.
This. My friend installed uTorrent, allowed all the checkboxes. His computer is full of crap now and I haven't bothered to fix it for him.
