I got FireFox any recommended plugins/extensions/add ons you guys use?

    I finally made the switch to firefox after youtube was screwing up, but now I've discovered add ons plugins extensions, and i'm wondering you guys have any recommendations that might help me as a noob to firefox or any plugins that you guys think is a must have and that I should check out for sure.

    AdBlock Plus
    MyWOT

    is all I used before Firefox fucked up on me and decided to use 1.6 GB of RAM whenever I closed a tab.

    Just letting you guys know, romU doesn't like adblock being used, the ad's PAY for the site to run, and as free members it's kinda nice to pay in some form (that and I heard that Seph is gonna start blocking us out when he finds a way to do so :( )


    I just use the plugins that come with some of my programs, currently only download manager plugins are being used.

    AutoPager (a must have for me)
    Download Status Bar
    FoxyTunes (If you use iTunes, which you should)(My favorite skin is Revolution)
    That's all I've ever used...

    I'm still trying to figure out how to unblock RomU ads, without unblocking the plethora of other sites.

    Recommended addons:
    Adblock Plus with EasyList and Malware Domains subscriptions
    Noscript - Very handy for blocking malicious crap and more ads.

    Also, google Firefox tweaks and spend a little bit of time in about:config to speed up firefox.

    When on the RomU site/forum go to the adblock plus arrow in the upper right-hand corner.
    Then go to disable on forum.romulation.net.
    Then ABP will be disabled on the site allowing ads to show. :)

    I would recommend

    Flagfox
    Personas
    Adblock Plus (Disable on RomU and the forums)
    No Script
    Download Statusbar
    DownThemAll
    WeatherBug
    SkipScreenz

    Alright, awesome! thanks for all your recommendations, but I thought I would share one with you guys that I found really helpful for viewing youtube, it's called " Show YouTube Star Ratings 1.2 "
    and another one I found very useful was
    " similarweb "
    and
    " read it later"

    Fission, Download StatusBar, Video DownloadHelper, Adblock, Flashblock.

    That's all I use. And you can add Yoonoo too when I'm on Linux.
