I can't believe it. I was looking in my garage for my beloved SEGA Mega-Drive (Genesis) and I found it. But not only did I find it, but I also found my other Mega-Drive that I thought I lost for ever. So now I've somehow, went from having no Mega-Drive consoles to now having 2 I also found a bunch of classic games including Mortal Kombat, EarthWorm Jim, Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Golden Axe. Words cannot explain how happy I am, I've found another peice if my childhood. I also couldn't believe I found the original box for the console, I felt like typing out what it said at the back. By the way, this is the SEGA Mega-Drive II, not the ugly old one I just loved the future part of that I hope someone gets a kick out of reading that. Here are pictures I took of what I found.
Haha I Still have both my megadrives in a cupboard somewhere though interestingly I got the second one first when I lent my second one to a mate who moved towns and took it with him! so i went and bought the first megadrive cause it was cheaper at the time then he came back down to visit and brought it back to me! so I also have two megadrives and a philips CD-I if anyone remembers that hilariously bad console.
^I remember the CD-I never played it tho there wasn't any games I liked on it and plus until xbox came out american systems never lasted very long. Awesome find! sexywogboy. only old systems I have left now is a TurboGrafix 16,Dreamcast,GBA,and GBC had to thin out alot of my older systems and games, Atari 2600,Atari 400,Sega Genesis,SNES,NES (front and top loading) NeoGeo AES god I hated to part with that one ,Sega Saturn,Neo Pocket color,Sega Nomad,Generation 1 sega genesis w/cd attachment...*sniff* now i'm depressed.
You kind of spelled... Never mind. I still have an NES. Nothing from Atari, SEGA, etc. But the NES is screwed up. Some games blink on and off over and over.
Congrats sexywogboy well I know where are most of my consoles are: 2600 famicoms / famiclones * 4 ( I think I will buy a new one of these ) megadrives (1&2) * 2 SNES PSX PS2 GBC GBAs * 2 DS PSPs * 2
Thanks guys for the congrats I really enjoyed reading the manuals of the console and the games. I was even lucky enough to find a special edition poster in Sonic The Hedgehog 2.
hahahha......Yes, it seems that way. I've actually still got a few games missing, some fun ones that I loved as a kid, including.....X-Men, Jurassic Park and I think it was Dragon (with Bruce Lee).
thats ALWAYS good news i myself have NES Sega Master System Sega Master System II GB x 2 SNES x 2 N64 PSX x 4 (dont ask) XBOX PSP just got traded DS x 2 and of course a slew of games getting a DS saved my life though! holy cow. no more messy set up to remember the good ol days i wish i could play Alex Kidd in miracle land on it though DS's biggest down fall? ;P
i play genesis on my ps2 to prevent losing all those games. i also have a mega drive 2 and quite a few games. although it was really annoying that i could never find a single game in any store back here. most of my games are from a friend of mine that gave them to me.
