I feel like an idiot...

...but this is my first time using an emulator. Using ZSNES to try to play Final Fantasy III and can't get past the intro. It just repeats. I (sadly) tried pressing every button on the keyboard (after checking the configured buttons and trying the 'select', 'start', etc. and still nada.

I think there's different versions of FFIII for different gaming systems now other than the SNES/ZNES, so what I'd suggest is trying a different copy of FFIII for different emulators. I find that the easiest emulators to use for me are the GBA and the NDS emulators, and there's already some pretty useful help for what I guess are common issues...and common issues and a brain fart are the only problems that I think I've had with those two emulators.

 

You probably have to configure your plugins. And don't feel like an idiot, it took me awhile to figure out emulators.
