I downloaded 2 PSX isos from this site and both did not work!

I wasted my points on Gex 2 and 3. Both did not work! All I got is a black screen. I have the right bio and everything!

I'm using Epsxe.

 

Just checking, but did you make sure to take the files out of their compressed states first?

Yes, I did. I'm using Epsxe

 

Gex 2: Use the Eternal SPU plugin and ensure subchannel reading/caching is enabled. When choosing a "mission" you cannot see the arrow (it still works though).
Gex 3: Use the Eternal SPU plugin and all should be well.

If that fails, you might want to try using a different emulator for it.

 

It still didn't work

 

I tried using a older version of Epsxe and now it works. It won't work on 1.6.0 for some reason.

 

I think I have the older version, and it works with all of the ROMs Ive played so far.. I didnt know there was a later one :-[

 

You should try 1.5.2. Some games work better on it than 1.6.0 for some reason. Try it out. And try changing your plugins settings as well or even your bios. 1001 is the best.

 

I use 1.6.0 and it works just fine.
