Maybe it's something wrong with your rom... Have you tried to downloaded again or from another post?

It happens in all games. Even in the start menu.

I can't really tell anything I see some difference in your screen shots, but still everything is still just too blurry. Perhaps if you humor us with some commentary we might be able to be of more help.

It appears his colors are all screwed up. That neon green and pink color on the first set. Seems normal on the second set.

My original Xbox did it once (not a 360, the old one), I ended up buying a new one.

Glad you can see that...course I am not wearing my glasses either. :p

Well if holding L is making the colors and everything seem normal then its looking like a screen issue probably the thin ribbon thats rolled in the hinge, might be worth to look into a replacement NDS or have it looked at from a professional and weigh in price difference.

Try replacing the screen, they have some at dealextreme for cheap. http://www.dealextreme.com/products.dx/category.604~search.screen%20ds
Get a techie to help you do it. Maybe craigslist.org will have local private tech support, for cheap.

If that doesn't work, just get a new DS.

I wouldn't even try with the replacement screens though, because if they don't work, you wasted money.

is this a DS or a DSi?

If it's not that old I would try to see if it is still under warranty. If it is then Nintendo will fix it for free.
