up until the twelve o clock last nigth i could connect fine but to my ugly surprise this morning i find unable to do so and the odd thing it was after it self reseted w/o my ok to do so i am reinstalling since i suspect it's a driver what is causing the issue here and i dunno which plus i cannot connect directly (by plugin in the wiere that goes from my router to my modem) even more odd is that i can do so with my wii...

any ideas? oh this was posted from my uncle's macintosh

If your Wii can connect and your computer can't, then it is not the router's fault. It's the computer's fault.

Is it finding the router and not connecting or just not finding any.

well i am reinstalling now but it finds my house net "hello boys" the odd thing is that i show unconnected i click to cnnect and it says i am connected the icon shows two pc's with a red x i disconnect then when i try to re connect it says 'it's taking more than usual' bumbps me to possible issues screen none of them are the router is in my room my laptop is there and is less than 500 cm's away from it ATM then whatever is says that it needs to be checked it is, finally the router is up to date checked by both the windows and mac pc's so i am re installing since is either a driver or comodo firewall or a virus that leaked itself in again (last time it was a virus that erased a system 32 file) so yeah since i can connect via wii (this post is being made from there) and via my uncle's mac i am afraid it's either comodo blocking any connection (it shouldn't do that since i uninstalled it)

Usually, my first instinct is to reset all of the rules in COMODO. But since you uninstalled it, that shouldn't be the issue that's blocking your connection.

I'd suggest reinstalling COMODO so you can find out your traffic, how much inbound, how much outbound and the active process killer is useful for figuring out what's doing what.
