    Hello.

    I am Canadian too.

    Ontario though.

Bit older than probably some here, but just takin advantage of the DS Games for my kids. If only there was an easier way for 360... well...

I am "Artificial Intelligence" from the previous (many years ago dial up boards) with the likes of Pharoh, etc. Just a little bit about me.

Love the site. Have an R4, but honestly, too lazy to try and use the YSMenu still. I hear mixed reviews, etc. so not sure if that's the way to go or not. Would love for it to have a new update, beyond 1.18, but hey....

Most games I d/load work though so that's a good thing. Just a couple odd ones here and there don't work. Feel free to comment on your opinions with the YS MENU, what were you able to get work, that didn't work before? And have you come across anything yet that has NOT worked with the YSMenu?

    Welcome to Romulation. :)

In terms of YSmenu, it's great! I was worried at first thinking due to it being a homebrewed firmware it would be more buggy and with less style. But I was wrong, I.....like you at first, used the R4DS with Firmware 1.18 for a long time. V1.18 was great when it was first released, but sadly more and more games are being released where the v1.18 can't handle it.

There really haven't been any negatives with YSmenu. It really doesn't have any new features, but it also doesn't lose any features. What YSmenu is all about is making flashcarts like the R4DS be able to play more DS games that v1.18 normally wouldn't.

I highly recommend YSmenu and I would be glad to help you out in getting YSmenu working on your R4DS (It's MUCH easier then you think). If for some reason you don't like YSmenu, it's just as easy to put the v1.18 firmware back on.

    Once again...Welcome to Romulation :)

Humm... so premium members get a nice cyan boxes huh?

Oh, welcome to RomUlation gr00ven! :D Take your time here and start posting. :)

By the way, the only game I play with YSMenu so far is Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Every other great games can work in R4DS just fine. (some need patches though) ;D

    8) Well thanks for the Kind words 8)

I guess I will try the YSMenu on one SD card, and regular 1.18 on another. That way get best of both worlds sort of speak. :p

I am pretty sure I can work it out, but if I do need assistance I certainly will come a calling.

I do wonder with the new legislation coming about, how long this site among the many will stay afloat, etc. Here's to hoping for many years!
