Not really as, in fairness this also applies to many more games, ie pretty much anything built using the DSi SDK, so no probably not

sometimes it's faster to post it on a thread and get the word across for others to test.

I sure hope the regular SDHC gets a fix though

It is helpful for those with an R4i SDHC though, that want to play other games until HG/SS works.

except for the ones who do have this card. If the ones who have the R4i-SDHC that also already have this update to their firmware, they'd PM me and say, "I already updated, thanks anyway." Then I would be banned for useless mass PMing.

Yeah they should delay it indefinitely! At some point you need to just release something, hot fixes can be provided later.

 

Does this firmware work on r4i neo revolution? Because i think it's something wrong at my kernel since alot of games doesn't work. And many of the games save files just get corrupted all the time.

 

The thing I hate it the fact they bring out new cards and stop support for the old. Fortunatly the ONLY thing which doesn't work is the game engine, not that I'd use it.

Works a treat ;D on my R4i card but does not work on R4 card :'(

 

There is a black screen fix for both Heart Gold and Soul Silver in the latest firmware. You have to go into the cheats menu and the option is under MISC. Just tick the box and save before loading up the game. I've been playing for the past couple of hours on HG without any issues. This also fixes Bowsers Inside Story in the same way.

It's good to see that they are at least supporting the R4-SDHC with updates to fix the latest games.

 

Is there a torrent of it somewhere? My download starts good then after like 5 seconds it drops to 600B :|

 

This wouldn't work on a R4 SDHC would it? I'm talking about the one that says "Revolution for DS" on it.
