    what is wrong with you peeple point i don't think so it takes forever to recharche remove the point and set it for 2 to 3 downloads per day jesus are you falling from mars

    If you stock pile enough you can download more than 2-3 games a day...

    Still, the point is to restrict high end usage, if everyone could download 3 BIG GAMES a day like the gamecube ones, romU could crash and create issues.

    This is one of a few reasons why I avoid downloading more than one game at a time, i just casually take what I need with my stock pile (usually ds games for my brother these days).


    Besides, it would be better if it was 2-3 games a WEEK (server strain that is-not the users)

    Be patient dude, the longer you wait for your points the more worth it is to play the game ;D

    You just join 2 days and expect to download alot of games which is impossible

    This may sound weird, but I like the point system.
    Also if you want lots of points and unlimited download speed get Premium Membership.

    Points are implemented as a limit to make sure we don't spend too much bandwidth so that we can keep the expenses low.

    It's not going to happen unless you're offering to pay for all the bandwidth. Last I checked, that was around $7,000 a month but it's probably more by now.

    $4,000 a month. $7,000 a month is the minimum it would be without the point system.

    Just for the record, I have absolutely no problem with the current point system on Romulation. But then again, I have nearly 35,000 points right now.

    I think RomU's point system is ingenious and a very effective way of controlling the bandwidth usage.

    If getting 50 free points a day isn't fast enough for you, then you could always shoot a few bucks to Romulation and become a Premium Member for instant download ability.

    You will be sent a PM by the RomUlation Robot. We also recently implemented subscriptions so that you can choose not to worry about renewing it at all.

    Also I'm a bit disappointed people here were that mean to the OP, yes he had poor grammar and was quite possible in the wrong, but that's no reason to ridicule him. I'm going to close this and clean the thread up for irrelevant shit.
