How to update EDGE firmware?

    I've heard that the updated firmware fixes some game compatibility issues so I decided to go through with the update, problem is though, I'm a little new to the firmware things with Flashcarts. So I already downloaded the EDGE v2.1 but unfortunately I don't know how to go on from here. So what would be the next step in updating the firmware?

    There are two important files in the EDGE v2.1 zip file. The "EDGE" folder and the "EDGE.DAT" file. Copy those two to the root (read: the root) of the memory card.
    And yes, I like siopao too.

    there's a new firmware now. its EDGE v2.2
