My internet and my games have all been extremely laggy lately. I can't even type correctly sometimes and it takes forever for games to respond, even in MINECRAFT. Seriously? minecraft has like the lowest needed stuff and yet that lags now even. Never did this before, what happened?

Most probable cause is/are Malware or a heavily fragmented hard drive.

For the first, try getting Malwarebytes Anti-malware:

    http://www.malwarebytes.org/

You don't need to purchase the full product as the free version is good enough for the task at hand.

As for fragmentation, you should do a defrag at least once a month.

Most computers automatically defrag every month or so. So i dont think that will be the problem. The problem is just a build up of cookies and files. Also just having programs that run from start makes your computer run quite slow.

No they don't. I believe windows 7 can schedule defrags but previous versions of windows cannot.

I never set up my defrag but it has been doing it every month without me setting it.

    I didn't download anything inappropriate.
I did download Shin Megami Tensei Imagine and ever since that it's been a bit more laggy, is it that? it's really strange that everything is laggy now, I defrag/cleanup just a few weeks ago too.

Probably especially if you got it from somewhere shady.

Have you done scans with your Anti-virus suite to weed out the possibility of a virus?

Minecraft needs a lot of "stuff". Second, you should probably back up all your files and reinstall you OS.

    True.

Maybe you need to clean junk files with CCleaner and such software once in a while. Also remove all the software you ain't using anymore. How more free space you have ... how easier it is too look for malware, if it is part of the problem

Since the big dump. What would having like 140kb space on your hdd do ?

140kB? I doubt windows would even load with that little free space.

It had around that much. Had a forced disk windows space thing. I think I had around 4-5mb after? Problems?

windows 7 has difficulty shutting down with less than 5GB free on the system drive.

Your computer might be a zombie due to a virus. This slows your pc drasticly because hackers may use your pc for D Dos attacks without you knowing it. Your anti virus can't find this.
