How to 'soft mod' you wii?

    I am looking for a way to 'soft mod' my wii. If there is anyway to do that without paying please help. I am simply looking for a way to download wii games, burn them to a disk and play them. I don't want to install a mod chip.

    Please help.

    I know that Kiekoes has written a tutorial on this. It is somewhere at RomU and it is on Ds-Scene at well.

    Is it a new Wii?
    If so, try to Letterbomb it.
    It's child's play.

    I know it's a little late and you already modded it but I used this guide http://chrislowthian.co.uk/how-to-softmod-your-4-3-nintendo-wii/ for my 4.3e Wii and it works like a charm. It might be usefull for a new Wii hacker or so though. :)

    It's very simple to follow, no complicated stuff at all, and there are links to Wii apps and guides on how to install them.
